The Bridge Nucleus is home to both residential and commercial space, including The Bridge Nucleus and has a history of being there for the community.
In Victorian times, the site was used as the Joyce Green hospital, which provide care for the smallpox victims and for soldiers injured in WW1.
The Bridge Nucleus pays homage to the ships that brought the wounded to the hospital, by naming their two meetings rooms in their honour.
